Fuji Dream Airlines has placed a firm order for two additional Embraer E175 aircraft as it continues to expand its all-Embraer fleet in Japan.
Announced at the 2026 Farnborough International Airshow, the order has already been included in Embraer’s backlog. The aircraft will feature a single-class configuration with 84 seats, with deliveries scheduled for 2027 and 2028.
Fuji Dream Airlines currently operates 15 Embraer aircraft, comprising two E170s and 13 E175s. The new additions will increase the airline’s capacity and support the further development of its regional network across Japan.
The airline has operated Embraer E-Jets since launching services in 2009 and is regularly recognised for its operational performance and punctuality. According to Embraer, the fleet’s average schedule reliability over the past 12 months has exceeded 99.8 percent.
Fuji Dream Airlines President Shunsuke Honda said the additional aircraft would help strengthen connections between communities across Japan while further developing the carrier’s long-standing partnership with Embraer.
